Guide for Authors

Manuscript Submission
1) English Teaching does not accept paper submissions. To submit a manuscript, please go to the online paper submission section at the KATE website (submission.kate.or.kr). First-time users will be asked to register. The deadline for submission is as follows:

Spring issue (International issue, March 31st): Due Dec. 31st.
Summer issue (June 30th): Due March 31st.
Autumn issue (International issue, Sept. 30th): Due June 30th.
Winter issue (Dec. 31st): Due Sept. 30th

2) After submitting a manuscript online, the author(s) should perform a similarity test on the manuscript at the website of the Korea Citation Index (KCI) (Note: Select the ‘논문 유사도 검사’ menu option at https://www.kci.go.kr) and then submit the results to the online paper submission section at the KATE website.

3) Authors should follow the Guide for Authors in preparing their manuscript for initial submission. To make a manuscript submission, all the authors (including co-authors) should have a valid KATE annual membership. (For annual membership information, visit JOIN page on website.) The review fee should also be sent for the review of their manuscript. After paying the reviewing fee, the author(s) should inform the treasurer, Dr. Eunbi Kwon by email (kate_treasurer@naver.com).

4) The copyright of the published articles is established in the name of the KATE.
